Scholarship Description
Each year the College of Health and Medicine, and the College of Science (“the Colleges”) may offer an award known as the Replacing Animals in Medical Research Honours Scholarship (“the award”).
The objective of the award is to support students undertaking a one year honours program, undertaking research utilising non-animal alternative methods to replace the use of animals or animal products in medical research, with a focus on Alzheimer’s disease.
Funding for this award has been provided by the For Animals Foundation.

To apply, you must provide a 200 word statement describing the research that you intend to pursue during your Honours year and how you will be utilising non-animal alternative methods to replace the use of animals or animal products in medical research. This must be emailed to science.enquiries@anu.edu.au. |

1. A recipient of this award is required to enrol in a full-time load of 24 units per semester.
2. A recipient requests permission, in writing, from the Deputy Dean Education to hold the award on a part-time basis. If approved, payments of the award will be made on a pro-rata basis. |
