The Australian National University (ANU) is looking forward to meeting you, they are currently working on the timetable of semester 2. In this article, we are going to show you the latest news and benefits of ANU. Let’s go!
The arrangement of semester 2 2021
ANU is working on its timetable for the second semester of 2021. Align with current government advice and ANU directives, its Timetabling team is establishing the schedule for Semester 2021. It’s based on room capacities resuming to 100%. The final version for the Semester 2 timetable will be released on 17 May 2021, affected by 26 July 2021. Currently, there are 4 delivery types of lecture:
• Online pre-recorded
Pre-recorded by the campus professional team/tutor/Zoom. It will be published online, students could arrange their schedule to watch these recordings online.
• Online live
The teaching could be delivered via Zoom link and real-time conversation. Students are expected to attend their scheduled classes.
• On campus only
Standard teaching activities could be carried out on campus. Students may able to record seminars and lectures through echo echo360 if in Echo enabled room. As for others such as tutorials, practicals and workshops may depend on the lecturer and tutor, the resources such as Zoom and live stream could be utilized.
• Dual delivery
Enabling students to participate in both online and campus tutorials at the same time. You could learn in a specific classroom and adapt to campus life quickly. Tutors could determine whether to record it or not.
The benefits of applications
If you are going to apply for the courses for the second semester of 2021 at The University of Australian National University, $100 application fee could be waived. Besides, the fourth round of application has been added, below are details:
The period of changing units: May 9, 2021-May 15, 2021
Application deadline: 15 May 2021
Confirmation of Enrolment release date: 1 June 2021
Acceptance deadline: 1 July 2021

The Australian National University also provides a range of scholarships to international students:
Dean's International Science Excellence Scholarship
The scholarship is offered by the ANU School of Science and ANU School of Health and Medicine, it aims to reward the best international students from global partners.
Value: $5000 per annum
Application period: 9 July 2020 to 15 May 2021 (Second semester of 2021)
ANU PhD Scholarships
Scholarship amount: $28,597 per year
Application deadline: 31 August 2021 (First round in 2022)
Application conditions:
• Domestic or international students
• Have applied for a doctorate or professional doctorate through a research plan, and
• A bachelor's degree with first Honours (some universities may consider students with Upper Second Honours), or
•Equivalent degree in Mater or Research which recognized by the university
